Exhibition guidelines
-Open to all artists residing in the U.S. working in 2-D in any combination of water or oil-based media -All work must be original, executed within the past 3 years and not previously exhibited at Pacific Art League. -All work must be ready to hang with proper hanging device -All work must be for sale; members (above basic membership level) receive 70% on sales; non-member and basic members receive 60% -Size of work limited to 72” either length or width -All work must be labeled on the font and back with artist’s name, title, medium, size and price

Shipping instructions (for accepted work)
Shipped work must arrive by Thursday, February 23, and MUST include a $15 packing/unpacking fee paid via PayPal or by check to PAL, and a pre-paid shipping label with appropriate insurance. If these items are not included, your art will not be hung in the exhibition until we receive them. Please arrange for FedEx or UPS pickup at PAL on Friday, March 29, if the size of the box or crate exceeds 40 inches (any side) or 20 pounds. No peanut chips please.
ABOUT THE JUROR
A California native, Rachel Lazo lives and works in San Jose. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, received a BFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Masters in Pictorial Arts from San Jose State University. Rachel has taught art in the Bay Area and is on the tenured art faculty at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, teaching drawing, painting and design. Rachel works primary in oils, gouache and drawing media, and has exhibited her work both locally and nationally, including at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, Pro Arts Gallery (Oakland), Gross McLeaf Gallery (Philadelphia), and City Hall Galleries (San Jose). Her paintings have been featured in California Home and Design Magazine and in Sunset Magazine Idea House 2004. She currently works on a large scale with abstract imagery, exploring color interaction and shifting perceptions of pictorial space.
